Our BEE Partner
Maharishi Invincibility Institute
Human, humble, purpose-led.
For more than two decades, the Maharishi Invincibility Institute (MII) has been close to our hearts. Supporting Dr. Taddy Blecher and the extraordinary work of MII is both an honour and a responsibility that we carry with deep humility.
When Rein and I founded Monday Cloud, we were unequivocal about one thing from the outset: our B-BBEE partnership would be meaningful, values-driven, and transformational. Maharishi Invincibility Institute was the natural and only choice — and we are proud to have made that vision a reality.
Beyond MII holding a 51% ownership stake in Monday Cloud, my personal involvement extends further. I work with MII on a pro bono basis across strategic and operational initiatives where Dr. Blecher chooses to include me, contributing time, experience, and support in service of the Institute’s mission.
Over the years, we have been privileged to support and participate in a number of significant initiatives. These include the acquisition of multiple MII academies, involvement in the development of the new Anglo American building, fundraising initiatives, strengthening client relationship management, and broader organisational support.
More recently, I have taken on the management of MII’s strategic partner accounts — organisations that collaborate with MII to uplift South African youth out of poverty. The objective is simple but powerful: to help these organisations deploy their B-BBEE spend in a way that delivers the greatest possible impact for unemployed youth.
With Monday Cloud, our long-term goal has always been to build a business of meaningful scale one that can create sustained, material benefit for Maharishi Invincibility Institute. This has never been a side initiative. It has always been the vision.

What Is the Maharishi Invincibility Institute?
The Maharishi Invincibility Institute is a pioneering education organisation founded by Dr. Taddy Blecher, globally recognised for redefining access to higher education in South Africa.
Key facts about MII:

The Anglo American Building story

One of MII’s most visible achievements is the donation of the Anglo American building in 42 Main street, Johannesburg’s CBD — a flagship campus that stands as a symbol of what is possible when business, education, and purpose align.

Transformation of Johannesburg CBD
Unearthing a new gold standard for transforming young South African’s lives.
It is the Maharishi Invincibility Institute an exciting, demand-led, Consiousness Based Education institution with a root network of partners who are reshaping education and a a city many love.
Led by its founder and CEO, Dr Taddy Blecher , we joined an extraordinary tour of Joburg as an education-town, reinventing itself with the iconic craft of the Jozi My Jozi ecosystem. It was such an inspiring time to see urban innovators like Obakeng Matlhoko (creating a digital operating system for the taxi industry, among other things) and Allan van der Meulen (unleashing a marketplace and currency for social capital in doing good). Then exploring the future state of Joburg coming to life right in front of us:
- Fully trained security caring for every corner — they are graduates from the institute.
- Fun-filled urban regeneration in bright green, white and purple bursting with youthfulness— a new city.
- 12,000 graduates, 99% of them are employed, and contribute Billions to their communities over their career path.
- Holistic approach to stimulate and sustain consciousness is woven in the curriculum to untangle trauma, stress and other social disorders within 6 months of joining the institution.

National expansion
The impact of MII extends well beyond Johannesburg. The Institute continues to grow its national footprint, expanding access to education across South Africa.
- Durban Campus in Tongaat
- Ongoing expansion of academies and partner campuses nationwide
This growth enables MII to reach more students, communities, and employers — multiplying its social and economic impact.
